A Masterplan for a new Production Precinct
The Challenge
The Camperdown Production Precinct is located on the outskirts of Camperdown, Corangamite Shire’s largest township. The precinct presents a range of opportunities to increase economic investment, attract future employment and build on the existing agricultural sector in the region. Council is developing a Masterplan for the ProductionPrecinct to provide strategic guidance that will stimulate and facilitate future development.
CoFutures is working with Council to provide a range of strategic advice, analysis and graphic design support for the Masterplan.
What We Did
- Developed a suite of site, zoning and overlay maps to illustrate existing conditions for the site.
- Visualised issues and opportunities spatially to highlight key land use and development constraints and opportunities for the precinct.
- Worked collaboratively with Council to provide urban design advice and peer review masterplan options for the site.
- Designed and illustrated a series of masterplan options maps.
- Desktop published and graphicly designed the final masterplan report.
Outcomes
CoFutures has developed a suite of clear and graphically designed maps to accompany technical reports and consultation materials. The Masterplan is currently on community exhibition and will be finalised in early 2024.
