Lachlan Burke
Lachlan combines skills and expertise across strategic transport planning, land use planning, stakeholder engagement, circular city planning, social research and analysis. He brings a collaborative approach to project management, working closely alongside clients in carefully addressing complex challenges facing communities. This is demonstrated through his solid track record of delivering innovative projects across metropolitan, rural and regional contexts to support inclusive and equitable community development.
Lachlan is currently completing his PhD studies, investigating how we as urban planners can support social sector 'reusue organisations' (like op shops and recycling social enterprises) in facilitating inclusive circular cities. In doing so, he seeks to understand how we can help develop a diversity of environmentally sustainable work opportunities and pathways. This research builds from his passion to support the planning of cities which provides everyone with access to quality places, goods, services and opportunities.
