The Future of Housing

Housing is not simply about the number of dwellings delivered. For communities, it represents security, stability, belonging and fairness.

These values run deep, and when they are challenged, they can give rise to anxiety, frustration and, at times, political polarisation. This prompted us to step back and ask a simple, yet important question: what really influences community perspectives on housing? What we learnt was surpring.

This publication marks CoFutures first large-scale research project. As a self-initiated piece of work, it gave us the freedom to explore the issue differently; asking questions that are often avoided, trialling new ways of capturing community sentiments, and drawing on our collective creativity to present the findings in an accessible and engaging way.
