
Sarah Oberklaid
Sarah is a creative planner and communicator with expertise leading and contributing to strategic planning, design, and housing projects in collaboration with a diversity of stakeholders.
Sarah is a collaborative and creative urban planner with experience leading strategic planning and design projects. She strives to contribute to projects which support more inclusive, sustainable and well-designed places people love.
She has facilitated national webinars for AHURI, including one with former NSW Minister Rob Stokes attended by over 500 participants; chaired local government forums such as the Inter-Council Affordable Housing Forum, coordinating advocacy with more than 30 Victorian councils; and led panel discussions at the Australian Homelessness Conference. Sarah is also a regular presenter at industry events, including Shelter NSW and the Sustainable Living Institute, and has organised talks for MPavilion and the Planning Institute of Australia.
Her expertise is further demonstrated through her role presenting to the Victorian Director of Housing under the Public Housing Renewal Program, as well as regular contributions to the Victorian Design Review Panel and briefings to City of Melbourne councillors and the executive team.
